Feria Urbanism has acted on behalf of a collective of twelve parish councils near Maidstone.
Our team worked closely with representatives of all the parishes to formulate a response to the draft Core Strategy published by Maidstone Borough Council in September 2011. We examined a variety of planning issues considered essential to the creation of a sustainable rural community, such as housing growth, countryside protection, the creation of new employment opportunities and provision of sound water infrastructure. All these issues were instrumental to the robust response we presented to Maidstone Borough Council on behalf of the parishes. For more on this work, see our project page.
