Art Nouveau Described as "the magnificent gesture” by Le Corbusier. A reaction against the mass production of the industrial revolution, it created some of our most elegant buildings and artworks. A fascination.

Compact cars We don't really like driving; most of our journeys are by bike; by train; or by a combination of the two. But when we do drive, we do so in super-efficient, city-smart style.

Viz Comic Still funny after over 30 years of rude jokes, silly cartoons, and ridiculous adverts. Essential reading, every two months (or however many times it appears these days).
